I've always thought that Pelican's look like rejects from Wonderland or some Tim Burton movie (which are two things that now have quiet a bit of overlap so I like to thing that maybe Tim would agree with me). So when I began a small series of drawings to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice in Wonderland, I had to add a pelican to my line up. He may look a little grumpy,but so would you if you had to deal with the Mock Turtle all day. Sweet tea and scones with lemon curd are his plan for the afternoon. Would you care to join him?
