Sarah is an artist based in Chantilly, located about 20 miles from Washington, D.C.  Her natural habitat includes the dusty sections of museums, bookstores, nearby running trails, and a sunny little studio complete with a window-sized bird feeder. In between working on a master’s degree in illustration and visual development, she partners with local writers and photographers for inspiration and personal projects.

The quirks and foibles of humans and animals are her primary source of inspiration.  Much of her art is explores either the individual portrait or imaginary characters, each with their own little tale to tell. She is always happy to take personal requests.
